HETALIA SPAMMING

OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH

<lj-embed id="15" />

America, England, Canada, France, and Russia, dancing Hare Hare Yukai. There's even a preview of Bouken Desho Desho in there.

I WANT AN ANIME OF THIS NAO PLZ. HURRY UP JAPAN -____-;

<strike>I need Hetalia icons O=</strike>

[EDIT] Oh man, little things I noticed the second time watching it:
-America taking a bite of a hamburger at 0:26
-America's jacket says "SOS" on the back
-<strike>England keeps glaring at France and France bugs him and giggles XDD</strike> wait, I was wrong! France flails out too much on one of the dance moves (on purpose or by accident, lol?) and smacks England on the side of the head, so that's why England keeps glaring at him. Then on his last spin England purposely kicks France and then we see France clutching at his stomach when the rest of them are supposed to be raising their arms up. Oh, those two...

[EDIT 2] huurrrr I have Hetalia icons now!!
 :DD

Bleach: Turn Back the Pendulum

The final chapter of the Turn Back the Pendulum arc.

I seriously got shivers running down my whole body. It all fits together so perfectly. And now, back in the present, the Vaizards march out to re-enter the battle they've hidden from for 110 years. Kubo is a genius.

Hetalia!

Omigosh I am so obsessed with Axis Powers: Hetalia, it's ridiculous.

Basically, imagine all the major (and some not-so-major) nations of the world, rather than being areas of land with governments... are all adorable anime boys/girls. Mostly boys, lol. They form alliances (which ends up being a lot like dating, hurr), wage wars, all those things nations do and have done since the beginning of civilization. Some of is is historically accurate, some of it is just crack... but it is all 100% AWESOME.

BEHOLD

My favorite characters are America, England, Canada, Austria, Russia, and Lithuania. Although honestly, they're all pretty amazing. America loves cheeseburgers, and pisses off the other nations all the time because he always sticks his nose in their matters XDD England gets annoyed and flustered with America a lot because America is always goofing around and not taking him serious, and England gets all grumpy and disgruntled (IT'S SO CUTE), and Canada is like... a more dorky version of America, and he's always pictured with a polar bear teddy. Russia is a tough one to figure out - he's got a bloody history, but sort of comes off as big and gentle, and always has vodka with him. He's got a sort of child-like cruelty, like a kid who tortures a bug or something. And it seems like even when he tries to make things right he always just ends up hurting people. He must be really lonely T_T Lithuana is Russia's maid/bitch (I think this is supposed to represent the Russian occupation of Lithuania) and is super moe and adorable and falls over all himself to help other people. Oh, and Austria is a stubborn, old-fashioned, cravat-wearing classical pianist. of course I love him XD. And France is super-fabulous and a horrible flirt and really full of himself. He and England are always fighting and trying to best each other.

My favorite pairings are America/England, America/Canada, Germany/Italy, Russia/Lithuania, Sweden/Finland, and pretty much anyone/Japan. Because everyone hits on Japan.

OH AND THEY'RE MAKING A DRAMA CD *_*

Italy, Germany, and Japan

Japan in the middle, with America, France, Russia, England, and Germany around him.

Basically, WW2. The Axis Powers in the middle, surrounded by the Allied Powers (from top right going clockwise: America, Russia, England, France, China)

America and England. England is so grumpy XD

This picture makes me laugh so much because it's pretty much exactly what a human England and France would be like XDD

Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania

Austria

Sweden and Finland

Russia and Lithuania

America and Canada

Turkey

Everyone!
a fun meme!

This has been floating around on my friends page, and I figured it would be nice to fill out!

You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Please copy mine below, erase my answers putting yours in their place then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration! One-Word-Answers seldom help anyone out.

1. First name: Jennifer-Marie (JJ to most)
2. Age: 20
3. Location: Wayland, MA
4. Hometown: The first six years of my life I lived in Brighton MA but I consider Wayland my hometown.
5. Occupation: Student at Tufts University, sometimes a cashier at Omni Foods
6. Partner: Alli, my partner in crime
7. Kids: nope, but someday!
8. Brothers/Sisters: Edward the 4th, aka Eddie, 18 years old
10. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:

(1) School. I'm doing a summer semester, and my current class is Environmental Biology. I love it way more than I ever expected I would, to the point where I'm considering taking more science courses and considering Biology as a second major.

(2) Cosplay, my favorite hobby. It especially takes over during summer, when I go to the most cons! Right now I've got ANext this weekend but I'm mostly focusing on AX, as I'm a part of two very exciting ACP events.

(3) Hanging out with Alli. I basically do this whenever I'm not stuck at home with homework. We sew together, watch anime together, shop together, eat together (I cook and she does dishes), and sleep over at each other's houses (usually hers.) Rob and Alanna are a very welcome added bonus to the JJ & Alli combo.

(4) Weight loss and exercise. I've been making a considerable effort and I'm actually happy with my progress. It's a big frustrating because I don't have a working scale in my house and it's hard to notice a difference in your appearance day to day. But I HAVE noticed that in the past two weeks I've increased my running distance up to a mile and a half, running at a moderate pace, and I'm probably not even pushing myself as hard as I can. It makes me happy to see proof that I'm making SOME progress. I'll ease up to those 5 miles runs I used to be able to do!

11. Parents: Edward the 3rd and Kathy, married and still adorably in love.
12. Who are some of your closest friends?: Alli, Sey, Rob, Alanna
13. Do you drink/smoke?: I drink socially (it usually just ends up being at conventions), and I don't smoke, because well, it's pretty smelly and gets expensive.
14. Tattoos/Piercings: One piercing in each ear. I keep pondering getting a few more holes in each ear, but I always forget to put earrings in, anyway...

calling all Mori's

Would anyone going to AnimeNEXT be able to be Mori from Ouran High School Host Club for a skit?

It's actually not technically a skit, but a short intermission performance that Mario (neo2469) has put together. We have the entire host club minus Mori, and we really need him! The only requirements are that you should be tall, and be able to have fun and ham it up onstage. We can supply the jacket/tie.

If you're interested and can help us out we'll love you FOLEVAH!

for sale: Isabella from ParaKiss

I'm selling my Isabella costume! It's hard to part with this costume because I poured so much time and love into it, and the two times I wore it were very memorable, but I'm really starting to run out of space to keep all my costumes! And since I'm constantly adding new ones, I guess it's finally time to pass the old ones on to people who will get more use out of them.

So! Isabella cost me a little over $200 and many many hours to make, and I'm asking for $150.

The costume includes:
-skirt
-vest
-petticoat
-purple wig
-hat
-lace parasol
-lace gloves (not in the picture, I bought them after that picture was taken)

It's only been worn twice, and is in good shape.

Bigger version of the first photo

Another full-body shot (This was during a masquerade, so forgive the strange lighting!)

A closup so you can better see the wig and hat

Another photo that shows the decorations on the hat

If anyone wants more photos let me know :D

Some notes about the costume:

1) It's meant for someone TALL. Like, 5'11. I'm 5'4 and I wear 7 inch platforms in this costume. I was going for accuracy, and well, Isabella is a pretty tall lady/dude XD

2) I just wear a basic button-down shirt underneath the vest. I'm not including that with the costume because I use it for other things. But I'm assuming most people already have one or know where to pick one up for pretty cheap.

3) The lace gloves are the same shade of white as the hat and parasol, so there's no issue with clashing colors. If anyone wants a photo of the gloves let me know and I can take one.

I'll ship anywhere, but if you need me to ship it out of the country, or ship faster than regular priority mail (aka anything that will cost more than regular shipping), I'll ask you to cover the extra cost. That's fair, right? @_@

I hope I can sell this to someone who will enjoy wearing it as much as I did :D

Hello people, yes, hi.

The Gurren Lagann fantasy AU video circling around right now?

NOT A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE

You can tell most people got the link from 4chan or some LJ community, without even looking at the official website.

It's part of Gurren Lagann Parallel Works' "Music Clip Project", a project that is independent from the movies. It's just gonna be a bunch of music videos set to GL songs, and each music video has different themes. This was the first one, with the "fantasy RPG" theme. There will be more videos, but they'll all have different themes so this isn't a preview of more fantasy-style GL to come, unfortunately.

<strike>...Though maybe the fantasy-style will be popular enough so that we'll get another music video of Sir Simon, Sir Kamina, and Sir Viral</strike> I can only hope XD

But yeah, don't go freaking out and telling everyone that it's for the movie because then there will be a lot of very very disappointed people.

various nice things

Awww, I just heard my mom talking to her best friend on the phone and gushing about the birthday present I made her... That made me feel so fuzzy and happy :D

(She has this old pin cushion she loves, and it was ripping and falling apart, but none of the ones in fabric stores were soft like hers, so she didn't want to buy a new one. So I took hers and ripped off the old fabric and re-covered it with fabulous Elvis fabric, so now it's as good as new, and much more rockin'.)

I suppose I don't need to say my mother's birthday dinner was a very pleasant occasion :)

Speaking of pleasant occasions, Alli and I went to zacku's graduation party, and had a wonderful time! There was good food, and fun, relaxed hanging out with some really awesome people. Thanks for inviting us, Zack!

Pictures I've been meaning to upload...

The beautiful Shinku figure I got the weekend Alli and I were in NYC to see TMR! She was only $26 *_*

The gashapon figures futachan bought me! Why she is so wonderful to me, I do not know.

Another shot of meido-san Mikuru, so you can see how adorably she's holding up her skirt on the right side!

The dorm collection at it's peak. Now they're sitting in a box at home waiting to be unpacked, along with the 20 or so other figures that I couldn't being to school with me.

Me, chilling in the dorm the day before I moved out. I have good memories of this room, and it was my home for a year. It was cozy, and I miss it =/

Now, allow me to tell you about the Tufts Senior Gala. Basically it's the a super fancy-shmancy dance, one of the highlight celebrations put on for graduating seniors. Robsie, the awesome and cool senior (NOW GRADUATE) invited me to be his date, since Alanna was home visiting her family. So basically I was the replacement girlfriend XD And it was so much fun! It was extremely fancy (you can tell Tufts put a shitton of money into it.) Like, I'm talking extremely nice hotel, several ballrooms, food was a delicious array of various cheeses and fruits and deserts (Rob and I pigged out because we just had to try everything!!), and they even had an ice sculpture of a elephant, the Tufts mascot. I was blown away O_o. Of the two main ballrooms, once played typical popular music for dances (rap, etc), but the other one had live jazz! And as I soon discovered, it was my trumpet teacher's group that was playing, lol. They played lots of 40's and 50's swing music, and man I wish I could have stayed in that room the whole time! All the other friends I was with wanted to dance to boring rap, though -_-. Guess I was born into the wrong generation...

Oh also the dress I'm wearing, I sewed up like two hours before the dance. Robsie invited me, I happily accepted, and then... realized that I do not own a dress that's not a hueg poofy cosplay dress. So I tore through our storage closet, found a dress that fit me when I was around 11, and made a dress for myself reusing the skirt section of the old dress and remaking the top part. It's times like that when I'm thankful I know how to sew!!

Robsie and I

We RAVED.

Me trying to get Kelsey to dance to swing music with me.

I failed and ended up dancing by myself, lol. FUCK YOU GUYS.

And in the end we all rocked out together in the main ballroom.

It was so much fun, thank you for inviting me Rob :D

Anyway, the other night I made some good progress on Soul's jacket! I think tonight I shall work on cleaning my room (there is STILL stuff I have to unpack from school, lol) and sew some more.

Also my "n" key is being very stubborn and it's annoying me quite a bit.

another update on MAI LAIFU

I never thanked you all for your advice, back when I was despairing over finishing those papers. I took Tina's advice to go to sleep, and then force myself to work on them in the morning. They're now almost done, and a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders just knowing I was able to push past my rut.

The summer semester has just started, and today I had my second Environmental Bio class, which I'm (surprisingly) enjoying quite a bit. I loved bio in high school, but after taking chemistry and physics in my following years I lost any taste I had for science. Still, the course I'm taking now is very interesting, and the professor is a very enthusiastic and engaging lecturer! I'm glad I decided to only take one class, since I'm discovering that just this one class (seven hours a week of class and about 100 pages per week of dense readings) is going to be more than enough of a load, especially once I start up with my summer job.

I've been practically living at Alli's apartment this past week, which has been fuunnnn! She even set up her bedroom so that I have my very own bed now!! I almost cried when she surprised me by showing me, I was so happy. But come to think of it, where the hell did she get an extra bed...? Does she have four more stowed away somewhere in that apartment?? Anyway, we've spent lots of time watching anime and playing video games. I beat Vol 2 of .hack//GU, which thanks to my broken PS2 I hadn't been able to until now, and started Xenosaga. It's interesting, but I can't believe I played for 2 hours and pretty much spent the entire time watching cut scenes... Anyway, I bought Vol 3 of GU, so that will be taking priority, hehe.

I also finally started watching FUSHIGI YUUGI! Alli has it on DVD, and we've been plowing through episodes like nobody's business. We left off on episode 24. I can't believe what a great series I missed out on!! I'm completely hooked. I'm also head over heels for pretty much all of the Suzaku Seven. Between Tamahome and Hotohori, I find myself wishing to be in Miaka's shoes pretty much every second I watch the show. And I absolutely can't get over Tasuki. I don't know if it's the kansai-ben or the red hair and moefangs, but I gush a little bit every time he does, well, anything. If only real guys were like that, maybe I'd give them another chance...! Hahaha XD

Also, I bought fabric for Soul. I can't wait to get started on him! AX is going to start creeping up pretty soon, so I have to get on that. Although today is looking like it's going to be nice out, so maybe I'll go outside and work in the garden instead. And once Mom gets back from the dealership with the new bike helmet, I can finally ride the moped we bought around!

A wonderland, inside the mind.

A few seconds ago I finished reading Haruki Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. I started reading it about a month and a half ago, but since I brought it with me everywhere I ended up losing it before long. With the semester drawing to a close and the work load piling up, I never had a chance to buy a new copy. I finally grabbed it at the library today and tore through the final 150 pages in a few hours.

It was quite an adventure of a read. It didn't blow my mind as much as slowly churn it up from the inside out. I feel the need to reflect, but I'm not even sure how do much right now besides take a deep breath and try to let the conclusion seep in.

I'll certainly be going back to the library ASAP to return it and pick up another Murakami novel!

R2 episode 6

Wow, what a disappointing episode, after waiting 6 hours to watch it.

I like Code Geass without Nunally. Every minute she's on screen = pure boredom for me. So basically, this entire episode was a boring letdown. Rolo is far superior - can't we just ditch Nunally for the cuter replacement?

hoooome!

So, I'm officially home from college! I still have a lot of work to do (essays and a research paper to email to teachers), but it's so nice to be home sweet home. When I arrived home last night, Dad was talking on the phone with my godfather so loudly I could hear him from the kitchen, and Eddie and his boyfriend were in the living room playing the new GTA game. Ah yes, good to know nothing had changed :DDD Then I talked on the phone with Sey for a bit until I practically fell asleep to the sound of her voice (lol Sey you are my lullaby), and hopefully I will see Alli tonight! My life is complete.

Anyway, I made a NYCC/TMR post the other day but I never included any photos, so I might as well make this post an opportunity to share them now!

Alli and I as Risa and Otani, looking pretty damn flushed and excited right before the TMR concert:

(puffyface!)

Then, after the concert at Cole's dorm we all took photos wearing Mario's Lelouche jacket. Cole ruined every picture.

...Except for when Mario ruined Cole's picture XDD

Then the next day, Alli and I became Speed Racer:

Us with John Travolta and his brother (you can see him on John Travolta's right hand)

Alli playing John Travolta's violin:

Me playing John Travolta's violin and getting paid for it.

And there you have it - visual proof of our stunning adventure in New York!

Soul Eater, ch 27-29

Wooooooo, three new translated chapters in like 3 days! I hope they continue to come out this fast, because it's a bitch knowing there are untranslated raws out there that I can't even download and try to understand.

First of all, FUCK YEAH STEIN. HE'S TEACHING DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS NOW, LOL. I got a little excited shiver when he announced that Duel Arts thing. Looks like Shibusen is starting to build up their army against Arachne and Kishin *__* I have such a ridiculous crush on Stein, too... I really hope the insanity doesn't turn him into a villain somehow. I love him too much as a quirky, yet sadistic, professor. I would be so sad to lose that! But the fact that he's going to be the one teaching Duel Arts to the students is a good sign. He's really reminding me of slightly more insane version of Remus Lupin from Harry Potter. He's professor in charge of teaching defense against the enemy, and just like Lupin, as a werewolf, has a side of himself he can't control, Stein has a hard time controlling the insanity of the Kishin.

Secondly: MEDUSA WTF YOU'RE BACK. Ok so we knew she wasn't REALLY dead, but NOW SHE'S A LOLI. SHE GOT AN UPGRADE, LOL. But why is she visiting Arachne? I honestly haveno ideas on this. I would have thought that she would be against Arachne (Medusa seems to be the sibling rivalry type), rather than on her side.

Oh and also, D'AWWWWW MIFUNE YOU JUST LOVE KIDS. I love how he got that blushy look on his face in ch 28 when he pictured all the little smiling kids saying "senseiii!!" when Tsubaki proposed he be a professor at Shibusen. But really...I THINK IT MIGHT ACTUALLY HAPPEN, SOMEHOW. He's definitely not an enemy, he's going to be some weird sort of ally to them, since his first priority is protecting Angela, as opposed to killing weapons or techs or whatnot. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Mifune, Angela, and maybe even the head witch, ended up joining forces with Shibusen, at least to stop Arachne. She's an enemy to witches and Shibusen alike, after all.

Ok, just to amuse myself, I'm making a list of characters who remind me of Harry Potter characters, because some of them are just GLARINGLY OBVIOUS. It was Alli that first mentioned to me that Soul Eater is basically Harry Potter with Shinigami, and as I caught up on the manga I realized how right she was.

Shinigami-sama = Dumbledore. OH GOD WHY ARE YOU *SO* DUMBLEDORE?? He's the head honcho at a magical school (Shibusen = Hogwarts, hurrhurr.) He's old and quirky, but super powerful and has lots of secrets. I can picture him loving lemon sweets. Oh, and letting his students go on ridiculously dangerous missions because "ohoho, well, they learned a lot from the experience, didn't they?"

Asura/Kishin = Tom Riddle/Voldemort. A long time ago, Shinigami-sama was Asura's teacher/mentor. However, he got some bad ideas and despite Shinigami-sama's warnings started using some evil magic, and slowly it transformed him. He ended up becoming the evil demon god Kishin, consuming all kinds of souls, regardless of whether they were good or evil. When he was finally defeated, he wasn't really dead, merely sealed away. Now, he's awakened again, and we've already seen one duel between him and Shinigami-sama (even though he was lame and ran away before it ended.) SOUND FAMILIAR?? The only difference is that is was Shinigami-sama who defeated Asura and sealed him off all those years ago, not some baby, lol.

Arachnophia = Death Eaters. Arachne is I-don't-know-who from Harry Potter, since we haven't really seen enough of her yet, but she's building up an army of weird spider people who are basically Death Eaters. This is pushing it a little bit since I don't know yet whether or not Arachnophobia is going to be fighting on Kishin's side, or if they're on their own side, but they definitely have some Death Eater like aspects.

Shibusen main students and teachers = The Order of the Phoenix. They're organizing themselves to be ready to fight and defend against Kishin. And now with Stein teaching the kids Duel Arts, it's even more so! I already explained how Stein = crazy Lupin, in my mind. Does that make Death Scythe Sirius? He's a bit more of a crybaby than Sirius, lol, but actually now that I think about it, he plays a similar role in the story, considering that he's a veteran fighter, and a father to one of the main characters. And a womanizer, lol.

None of the kids really fit into the Harry Potter roles, unless I haven't thought about it enough. It's definitely more apparent in the plotline and the adult characters. Black*Star is so Naruto, I can't compare him to anyone else. As for Soul, Maka, Kidd, and the others... well, they're definitely not Harry, Ron, and Hermione. BUT YEAH, THE SIMILARITIES ARE SO THERE!

Spoiler-free version: I LOVE YOU, SOUL EATER. Both the character and the show, haha. It is so Bleach meets Harry Potter I can't even stand it. Anyway, everyone should go read it! Onemanga.com is a good place for that :D If you're interested, the anime is pretty good too, plus TMR sings the opening. And epic BONES animation is a plus, as well.

Also me and Alli are cosplaying Soul and Maka :X

On a whim, I downloaded Ragnarok again and started playing on the free server I used to play on back in high school. Good ol' EuphRO is still alive and kicking!

Does anyone want to play with me? Some of my Tufts friends and I are starting to team up, and anyone is welcome to join :D

Ohmigod, I actually signed on AIM today! Except for one time when I signed on at like 2 in the morning about 2 weeks ago, today's the first time in like... months, haha.

I'm gonna do a rundown of last weekend in NY / TM REVOLUTION concert! Sorry to all of you at NYCC who I didn't see... I was seriously only there for like 5 hours, for the TMR line + concert... ^^

Sooo Friday I went to Japanese class with futachan/Lisa in tow (she'd arrived Thursday night to check out Tufts) and then ryugu/Alli arrived later in the afternoon. Lisa also brought me a little giftbag with Japanese candy, plus two Gashapons, Haruhi and Lucky Star. I got ADORABLE maid-Mikuru, and one of the Lucky Star side-characters whose name means nothing to me but looks so cute standing there up next to Mikuru. What did I do to deserve such gifts?? Lisa's too sweet T_T We all hung out or a while until I had to go get ready for my big band concert (the final concert of the year!)

The concert went SO WELL. I wish I'd asked my parents to videotape it so I could share it with you all! It was, hands down, the best concert we'd ever played. And so many of my friends came to see it! Alli, Lisa, vickylicious/Vicky, her boyfriend Pat, desmonthesis/Casey (who I was hoping to impress, as he's my trumpeter-senpai! XD), my friend Alex from Japanese Culture class and his girlfriend Molly, Hannah and Ryan, and my Brawl-buddy Peter, all came! Even my Grandmother was there! When I saw how many people came to support me and enjoy the jazz, I almost started crying from happiness T_T Thank you all!

After the concert, my mom took us all out for ice cream! Lol, 10 people in the minivan, that was fun... XD

Saturday morning, Alli, Lisa, and I all got up early and started to pack/get ready for New York. We'd hoped to leave earlier, but by the time we were ready to leave it was already 10... we made it to Chinatown by 11 and waited until noon for the bus to New York. We finally got to NYC Chinatown at around 5:30.

Ok, let me just get this out here now. I HATE NEW YORK AND IT'S STUPID SUBWAY SYSTEM. There, I said it. I think it's a dirty, icky city, and the metro makes no sense at all. Why are there THREE different Canal St stations? If you're going to have three Chinatown stations all three blocks apart from each other don't call them ALL Canal St. That's so confusing... If it were Boston you'd never see that! NYC peeps please don't hate me O= I just love Boston, I guess.

Anyway, after trying one Canal St station after another and finally finding the right one after about a half hour, we finally got on the train and made it to the convention center by about 6:15. We pretty much just grabbed our badges (which was a waste of money since they were never checked and we were only there for a few hours) and went straight to the TMR line with all our luggage.

We took turns holding out place in line while we each went and checked our luggage/got changed/freshened up. Alli and I wore Otani and Risa (TMR = our Umibouzu!! XDD), and right after I got changed, I actually accidentally wandered into the backstage area behind the arena and got to hear TMR rehearse one of his songs! The rest of the line was fun thanks to ordering pizza, DS pictochats, and general high-excitement atmosphere.

The concert itself was INCREDIBLE!! I'm a new TMR fan so I didn't know a lot of his songs, but I could certainly appreciate the catchy music, and Alli and I were rocking our hearts out dancing the whole time. The highlight for us was definitely when he played "Resonance", the Soul Eater OP. So far only there's tv-edit so the audience at NYCC were the first fans ever to hear the full version!! Alli and I both LOVE Soul Eater so we were freaking out, and of course, singing along until our throats hurt. The only slight disappointment for us was that he didn't play Howling (the first Darker Than Black OP), but it was to be expected considering it's technically an Abington Boy's School song, not one of his solo songs.

TMR is so charismatic onstage! He had such high-energy the whole time, I don't know how he does it. Even after the last song, we all shouted "TMR! TMR!" over and over again until he came out again, and said "Ok, this is really the last song!" ...and played THREE more, lol. One of which was Hot Limit, one of my favorites. I'm just so happy this concert went so well, not just because I had a blast, but also (more importantly, even), because this was his kickoff concert for turning a new leaf in his career. I'm so happy that it was such a huge success!! Because now, we can look forward to much more TMR in the future XDD

After the concert, Alli, neo2469/Mario and I went back to blindkijin/Cole's dorm and hung out with three of his friends Tiffany, Nishi, and Sebastian, all of whom I'm very happy to now call my friends too! We had a fun night of drinking and joking around on the internet and everyone trying on Mario's Lelouche costume. Very good photos came out of this XD Then we headed back to Mario's apartment and crashed.

Thanks to djranmas, Alli and I got a tip that TMR was going to be doing a radio show at Kinokuniya sometime on Sunday. So in the morning we headed into the city with Mario, and then parted ways as he went back to the con and Alli and I headed to the bookstore. We hung out there for a few hours until finally at around 1:30 they started setting up for the show and a line started forming, and finally at 3 the show began! Alli and I had awesome seats, so we were sitting about 8 feet away from Mr. TMR :D It was a really cute interview, and some really fun fan questions were asked. Like "how do you take care of your hair and skin??" to which the answer was, "I don't know, I just wake up looking like this every day!" He was very funny, very engaging towards the audience, and also ridiculously tiny and very beautiful XD WTF late-thirties Japanese man how are you so pretty???

They also played the full version Resonance again, much to Alli and my delight, so we sang along once again. TMR looked right at as and was like, "...you know??" and we were like FUCK YEAH. But a little more polite. Cuz, yanno, it's TMR and we're silly fangirls, derp. THEN, they played the B-side of the Resonance single, Soul's Crossing, which means we were officially the FIRST fans to ever hear it!! *___* I can't wait till the single is released...!

After the show, We to do karaoke with jubeichan/Julie for a bit, and then left to go find some food. We are definitely going to go back that Karaoke place again at a time when we can get a room to ourselves! We found a Japanese bookstore called Book-Off which I thought only existed in Japan! They sell a lot of used books/DVDs/CDs/manga, and is basically a goldmine for Japanophiles like me. I hadn't been into one for two years, and it was hard to stop myself from buying load of used stuff. But, I did get one killer buy - a BEAUTIFUL Shinku (from Rozen Maiden) figurine for only $26. It even came with a volume of the Japanese manga! That thing would have gone for at least $45 at a con, without the manga. I couldn't resist! She's beautiful *_*

We ate dinner in a very charming Japanese cafe and oggled pretty Japanese people for a while, and then started the trek home. On the subway we met John Travolta, who let us play his violin and we chilled out with him for the 20 minutes we were waiting for our train. He had a little Yoda-doll, who was apparently his brother, and the four of us all took photos together. Then we got on our train, made it to Chinatown in good time, and took the 9 PM bus back home to Boston.

Overall, fucking amazing trip. TMR is unbelievably awesome. I can't wait for the Resonance single. Also I want to go back to New York asap to go back to that karaoke place, and that Japanese cafe! Alli and Cole, you have to send me the various photos that were taken over the course of the weekend so I can post them here soon!

Kyahhh one more week of school!! Then I have three weeks of vacation before I start the summer semester. The summer semester for which I gave up a free 3-day vacation at a Florida resort with my Dad. Am I suicidal?
