CLEP is basically a test to test you out of classes but still recive credits for it. It is REALLY hard, like... you need to know the info inside out in order to pass it. So... I don't know... I kinda doubt she's going to do well with that kind of logic. She should save her $30 and eat a steak, now that's more fulfilling... if she eat steaks that is.

Thanks to Matt, I'm reminded that Shore Leave 30 is THIS WEEKEND.
Guests include George Takei, Malcom McDowell, and Jewel Staite. The bigger guest events seem to be earlier in the day, too, so it may not be that late a deal.

Author's note: I'm mid-way through another fic but have come to a writer's block, so I thought I'd write this short three-parter of birthday fluff, and then return to our regularly scheduled hot attorneyslash action.
Part One
Phoenix rolled over and attempted to open both eyes at once. The right eye was responding but the left eye seemed to be out of sync with signals from his brain. With a concerted effort he blinked and focussed on the alarm clock in front of him.

He grunted slightly and put his head back face down on the pillow. Then
"Whu.."
This time his head jolted up, as if responding to his own voice.
"2 in the afternoon? I slept till 2 ..."
He shook his head wondering why Maya hadn't roused him, at least in time for lunch.
"Maya!" he called, pulling on a baggy sweatshirt and heading into the living room. "MAYA!"
No answer.
He wandered into the kitchen, to find a note taped to the breakfast bar.

Has anyone ever scanlated this Klavier/Ema H doujinshi, Red? 'Cause if not, I'm going to. Not because I particularly care for the pairing, but because *gurgle* Klavier.
ALSO. If anyone else has HQ doujinshi scans they want translated, let me know and I'll consider them. Pairings don't matter omggavincest/bgl/anythingwithlarryplz. ...just don't expect them translated any time SOON, I'm slow and have a ton of other stuff I want to do as well but I'm open to suggestions 'cause I like teh pr0nz, and this comm has given me so many things full of win and awesome that I feel like I owe something (and my fic/art muse seems to have died a couple years ago. so this is ALL I HAVE LEFT).

These pchats were created for those that want to dork around and doodle Ace Attorney related things. All in all it's a pretty fun place to be, escecially when you're bored. For the newbies, there are some basic things to know:
-There are no layers, just masks. Final Destination
-Maintenance occurs at 8:30 AM UTC/GMT + 9 hours. Which translates roughly to 4:30 PM PST/GMT - 8 hours. At about 4 PM ish or so it'll give out the 30 minute warning, and then gives out a 10 minute, 5 minute, and a 1 minute warning before kicking everyone out for five minutes. It's highly recommended you capture your images before this happens as the log is cleared as well.

Fell into full work-mode the minute I came back Monday afternoon - I was officially handed over the larger clients from my former boss, so meetings and whatnot had to be done. Didn't have much of a chance to recuperate or think until now.
SO, how can I phrase this weekend?
( Sucking the suck out of AX when there wasn't that much suck to be sucked anyway! )
And now to knock myself down a few notches - while everything was a success, a few other developments happened that weekend that showed the stairway to the top is still very long indeed...

1) Ugghh I really am a glutton for punishment sometimes. I should know better than to let things annoy me when they are so not even remotely worth the thought.
2) I put some birdie decals on a wall in my bedroom - I got the Traditional colorway, but I didn't use the red. I saw that the manufacturer's site has a lot of fun stuff (generally for cheaper than most things at Blik!) so I might get a set of mustard origami birds, as well as maybe something to add some color to the living room. All of the mirrors are up over the couch except for one, and I like the look, but it needs a little color or something, I dunno.
Alexis is coming by tomorrow to help with the shelves - Round Two: Ikea Shelves vs. India Davis REMATCH. I'll let you know how it goes.
Once everything is done in this place, I'll finally take some pictures of it.
3) When I ordered my bird decals, I also ordered some new sandals, which are very cute. I had wanted these, but they were out of my silly small size. I also liked these, but again, no sizes. Also I am too poor for them.
3) I got harassed by a creepy homeless man named Robert in the laundromat today. It was not fun. But at least I got all my sheets and towels done.
